Women DJs You Need To Know
Yesterday was International Women’s Day, and we here at MMP wanted to celebrate by bringing you a story about the great work Black Madonna and DJ Rachael are doing to break down gender divides in the electronic music industry.
We want to continue to recognize the great work that women DJs do, and bring attention to the fact that much of that work is still ignored within the DJ industry as a whole. Dan White over at DJ Tech Tools mentioned that one of the questions he hears so often is “where are all the women DJs?”
So you know, there are tons out there. And they are great DJs! DJ Tech Tools has created a list that you can see here. But, we want to hear about more! If you know an awesome woman DJ, name her in the comment section below, and tell us why you think she’s great.
