Ty Dolla $ign Opens Up About His Life
Ty Dolla $ign, aka Tyrone William Griffin, has been quite active in the music industry. Born in LA, he’s the son of a musician. It was his dad’s early influence on him that inspired him to learn bass guitar – not exactly the easiest instrument to play. But, he didn’t stop there.
Ty went on to master drums, guitar, keyboards and the MPC (an early MIDI controller from the 80s). By 2007, he was ready to launch himself into the big leagues. He released his first mixtape followed by collaborations with YG, Joe Moses, Wiz Khalifa and Juicy J. Actually, there’ve been a lot more collaborations than just those.
