The Fyre Festival – Justice Served
Hopefully, you weren’t one of those duped into paying thousands of dollars for a ticket to the ultra exclusive Fyre Festival that was supposed to have taken place in the Bahamas this past April. If you were, I’m sorry to say that you likely won’t see that money again.
Despite promising to do better next time, you can rest assured that the Fyre Festival will never happen again. So, don’t save the date next year. One of the organizers, Billy McFarland, has been arrested for federal wire fraud. In other words, he misrepresented the financial facts to investors. He took millions from them and … well … who knows what happened to the money. By now, we all know very little of it actually went into producing the festival of a lifetime.
