“I had no intention of inciting a riot, it was just college kids having fun.” Kashawn Harris, aka DJ Boogy

Well, we all know what they say about good intentions, or about having fun in dangerous ways until someone gets hurt.

Maybe DJ Boogy needs to realign his priorities, as in perhaps repeating to himself: “it’s not all about me … it’s not all about me.”

Here’s the situation: DJ Boogy was charged with disorderly conduct by Massachussetts police. The fire marshall called police to help clear out about half of the revelers enjoying the party at a club. The club could legally hold 160 people. The night that Boogy was spinning his tunes, there were 350 people packed in.

The problem? The moment at which police were clearing out half the club, Boogy started to play N.W.A.’s F*** Tha Police.

So, what do you think the possible outcomes of this situation might be?

Honestly, Boogy, give your head a shake. There are ways to protest that actually make a point. Or maybe you thought it would be funny. In any case, the ticket you were issued is completely deserved.
