The other day, I was listening to a retrospective of hip hop music. The radio station was playing one of Maestro Fresh Wes’ biggest hits, “Let Your Backbone Slide.” Wow, what a difference compared to some of the stuff that’s popular today. I’m lookin’ at you Tyga.

Ok, styles and tastes evolve, right? And that’s a good thing! But, as Dancing Astronaut recently noted, nostalgia rules. They took note of all the complaints that fans of electronic music have about the new music that’s being released now. Turns out, their gripes are no different than what fans were complaining about 20 years ago!

Do you ever find yourself wishing for “the good old days”? Hate to break it to you. But, those days never really were so perfect.
