About a month ago, I warned you to wait for some bug fixes before updating your Serato DJ system to Mac OS Sierra. The glitches don’t affect everyone. But, if you’re one of those unlucky enough to have had problems with your software after you perform the update, you know what kind of headaches can ensue.

In any case, it looks like Serato and Mac have patched their issues and are now playing nice. Serato has announced on its website that its “software is now supported for use with macOS Sierra.” There are, however, exceptions. If you own any of these, you’re going to have to play the waiting game just a little bit longer.

You’ll need to download a new driver and upgrade the firmware for Denon MCS8000.

Do not upgrade yet if you use these:

  • Mixars DUO
  • Numark NS711
  • Numark NS7
  • Numark NS6
  • Numark V7
  • Allen & Heath DB2
  • Allen & Heath DB4
  • Rane TTM-5711
  • Rane MP2015
  • Rane 61
  • Rane 62
  • Rane 64
  • Rane 68
