Living in North America, it’s really easy to forget sometimes that there’s a vibrant vinyl culture happening in other parts of the world. If I were to ask you which part of the world you think worships vinyl as much as we do here, you’d probably answer Europe. Sure. And you’d be right.

Except that Europe, like us here in North America, isn’t the only place in the world that’s actively growing its crate digger population. Believe it or not, Turkey is up there as one of those countries that venerates that old technology.

Despite the country’s current troubles, Turkey has long been known as a hot spot of forward-thinking and modern ideas. So, really, it’s not surprising that vinyl’s so popular there.
