Musicradar.com asked a question of its readers recently. It’s a good story, so I’m turning around and asking you.

Is DJing too easy now?

Just think for a minute of all the technology available to DJs now. You don’t just have a couple of turntables, some knobs and speakers to work with. You have Serato, Native Instruments, Pioneer … etc. etc. etc. So much technology and software and equipment to help you find BPMs, the right key of all the songs you play, music saved to digital files…

You name it, DJs now have it available to them. So, what’s left for DJs to do? What’s left that actually shows that there’s an art and skill to DJing?
