One of the best products ever invented for collecting dust is the Swiffer dry cloth. Ok, I guess any magnetized dry cloth will do the trick. Records tend to collect dust, pet hair, fingerprints … if it comes within a mile radius, your record will attract it. Carefully wipe the dry cloth around the record until all that stuff is gone.
