A lot of DJs are happy to show up at a gig and press play, letting their pre-recorded sets run their course. Although some might say that a real DJ wouldn’t do that, the fact is that playing pre-recorded sets is just fine and, in some cases, preferable.

But, sometimes recording a live set is just what you want. It’s a great tool for marketing, for self-improvement and for archiving your own work.
