DJ Obi Has Broken A World Record
A little while ago, I told you about DJ Obi who was determined to break the world record for the longest DJ set. He was aiming to spin for a whole 230 hours, aka 10 days in Sao Café Lagos.
His set began on June 22 and ended at 11:30pm on July 2. The rules allowed him one 2-hour break each day to catch up on whatever he needed (mainly sleep). Commenting on his odyssey, Obi said:
I woke up hallucinating after 4 or 5 days and had lost full control of my body…I used the loss of my father as an inspiration, constantly thinking to myself that my Dad was watching me and would be disappointed if I failed.
