Who needs food, anyway? That’s what Alexis Charpentier, aka DJ Lexis, thought when he was a kid. His parents gave him lunch money every day. Instead of using it for bodily nourishment, he’s use it for audio nourishment. He’d use the money to buy records.

Charpentier is not only a DJ, he’s become known as a vinyl archeologist. He’s the one who you might see digging through vinyl looking for obscure artists and sounds. He’s the founder of Music Is My Sanctuary, a website designed to showcase “future classics and forgotten treasures”.
