More and more DJs are going a bit more digital these days. They are switching out their Turntables for controllers or CDJs. There is nothing wrong with that at all, it’s all about convenience and preference. But for those of us that continue to use Turntables and needles, sometimes there is that nagging issue of the needle not reading correctly on our Serato or whatever platform you are using.

Usually it’s because the end of the cartridge is dirty, so we do the old school tricks such as licking the end of the cartridge, maybe dusting it off with our T-shirts. Sometimes those are quick fixes but long term i’m not to sure.
