My reaction to this article in Mixmag is the same as the one I had when Ye dropped those lines: Seriously?
I just can’t see cassettes having the cool factor or the longevity of vinyl. Plastic tape does wear out and break, after all. Sure, I know vinyl scratches to the point where it’s very nearly unusable. But cassette tapes? Really?
