Can A 20 Year Old Really Be A DJ?
Ricardo Villalobos is a DJ and producer based in Berlin. At 47 years old, he’s been honing his DJ skills for quite a few years. Here’s what he has to say when asked what it takes to be a DJ:
“People playing records have to be DJs their whole life. It’s not like you can become a DJ when you’re 20 because you think it’s cool. You are touched by it; you cry because of a rhythm. me, I’m crying all the time” (mixmag.net).
